In Honor Of National Adoption Month…

Today, on Halloween, we’re offering a big treat – no tricks. 😉

In celebration of National Adoption Awareness Month, we are offering a discount on our full-service consulting packages.
10% off our top three, full-service consulting packages
15% off our top three, full-service minority program consulting packages.

This discount is effective from November 1st- November 11th.

This discount does not apply to the DIY package, our returning client package, or our special needs program.

I absolutely love when we offer these discounts.  Every little bit helps when you’re saving for your adoption, I know, and I love when we can help families save a little bit more in honor of an important time in the adoption community.  Email me at karalee@christianadoptionconsultants.com for more info about any of our packages or check out our website anytime at Christian Adoption Consultants.

November is National Adoption Awareness Month!! :)

And…Sunday, November 3rd is Orphan Sunday.  If your church doesn’t participate, Show Hope‘s blog is a great resource for ways to get involved, ways to get your church and community involved, and how you can personally help children all around the world who are in need.  I remember reading on the Abba Fund’s blog that if just 6% of the world’s Christians would adopt, we would have no more adoptable children in the world.  That is staggering to me.  I think so many people are overwhelmed by adoption – how can we afford it, where do we start?  And sometimes that fear keeps us from listening to God’s voice telling us to move.  Reminding us of His command in James 1:27: “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress.”

Adoption is hard.  It’s emotional and difficult and expensive and not perfect.  There is grief and there is turmoil.  But there is the lesson of ultimate redemption. There is love beyond imagination.  It’s a beautiful, miraculous thing.  If you want to get involved in Orphan Sunday, visit Show Hope’s blog linked above. 🙂

You all know I’m a fool for Pinterest, and I just read something that I had to immediately post here.  The waiting can be so difficult, but read this…read it daily or hourly or every minute if you need to:

“Our willingness to wait reveals the value we place on the object we’re waiting for.”
Charles Stanley

Obviously with adoption, we’re waiting on a human being and not an object, but my goodness…it just made love bubble up in my heart when I read that.
