Ruben’s Family

Several years ago in a random twist of divine fate we met a special soul, Karalee, and we knew she was in our lives for a significant reason. My ears perked when I overheard her talking about adoption, and of course had to know more. We were thinking about adoption at the time, just not quite ready. She shared her adoption story, and that she had also become an adoption consultant. It was a new concept to us, and one that seemed brilliant. When we had peace about the path God was calling us to, there was no doubt Karalee was our girl. Thanks to Karalee and CAC, our adoption story was truly an amazing experience! If you are ready to adopt, but overwhelmed by the thought of “where do I even begin?” You are in the right place without a doubt!
We can’t say enough wonderful things about CAC and Karalee! She helped SO MUCH, and walked us through every step of the process. She’s not only such a sweet soul, but so responsive, knowledgeable, and encouraging. It was so reassuring knowing that she has adopted two children herself, and could relate to everything we were going through.  It’s incredibly assuring knowing you have an experienced partner on your team as you walk through the process. Adoption can be so overwhelming and emotional, but with CAC and Karalee, we never felt stressed or worried. It was the smoothest, most amazing and enjoyable process. We started our paperwork in November and our son, Ruben, was born in January! He is the best gift we’ve ever received! We look forward to using CAC and Karalee again in the future, and can’t thank them enough for helping us find our precious child!
Karalee’s Note:  Nate and Amanda are amazing people who will always have a place in my heart.  One of their friends at Rewind Documentaries made a little movie about their adoption journey. I DARE you not to cry during it:)  You can watch HERE.

We were referred to CAC/Karalee through a former client of hers, and I am so glad we listened to her. After emailing and talking with Karalee we felt very comfortable working with her. What I appreciated most about working with Karalee is that even without us having turned in a contract or made payment she still offered us a lot of insight into the adoption process. There was also little pressure to become a client. I felt her biggest priority was to better educate us about adoption. After we did sign I felt like we were her only clients, even though I’m sure that wasn’t the case. We found a situation we were interested in the day after we received the information packet, and with Karalee’s support, and hard work we matched two days later, a week after that our son Myles was born. We know our situation isn’t typical, as people don’t usually match in 3 days, but Karalee helped us with our little miracle.

Hannah’s Family

My husband and I suffered with infertility for 8-1/2 years. We tried 12 IUIs and a round of in vitro. After finding out both of us suffered with fertilization issues, we turned to donated embryos. Our first round wasn’t successful but the second round was. Unfortunately I miscarried and at that point we turned to CAC to adopt our miracle baby. We signed up with CAC in July 2011 and we were matched in November 2011. Our beautiful baby girl was born December 20, 2011.

CAC helped us out in so many ways. CAC provided us with a wonderful detailed package that described the process extremely well and I found it to be very helpful in helping us apply for agencies and grants. CAC also did our adoption profile and it looked so professional and we continue to get compliments on it. It’s a great keepsake for our little girl.

Karalee helped us out tremendously from the very beginning. Due to my husband’s health conditions, we weren’t even sure if adoption was an option for us. She emailed many agencies in Wisconsin for us to find an agency who would work with us in the home study even with his health issues. From that point on, I found myself talking/emailing Karalee almost every day. Whether it was a question on applications, grant information, a particular situation or even just encouragement to get through the process, she was there. She responded right away or within hours, even though she is a busy mom with 2 beautiful children. Whenever I had a question or problem, she would do her best to answer or do research to find out answers for me. When our church held a fund raiser for us, she graciously offered to write up a note describing her work with us and the need we were faced with. Karalee will be a friend for life and I’m honored to know her.

Without Karalee and CAC we wouldn’t have our miracle baby and we couldn’t be happier. I would highly recommend Karalee to anyone looking to adopt. I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Article about Christian Adoption Consultants in Christian Living Magazine

“Karalee has been such a wonderful addition to our lives. She was a beam of light in our earliest days of sadness and not knowing what The Lord had in store for us. She shared, cared and walked with us through endless emails. She was a kind heart and gentle ear before we even signed with CAC. Amazing. She truly is the bridge that brought us to our son. We can not thank her enough for all she has done for us. She and CAC are forever in our prayers.”

“We hired CAC to help us navigate the intimidating domestic newborn adoption world. While we knew it would be emotional, I wasn’t prepared for just how emotional it would be and how many questions I would have. Karalee went above and beyond to help us and talk me down off a ledge 🙂 it was so valuable to have someone who was on our side and could give input from her real life experience.”
